Re: Bedminster Specialty Pharmacy is Out of Network with Express Scripts and Cigna
Dear Valued Patient,
We are writing to inform you that although Bedminster Specialty Pharmacy is currently out of network with Express Scripts, we are working diligently to resolve this contract issue. We understand that this news may come as a surprise to you, as it did to us, and we apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused.
We want to assure you that we are exploring all possible options to continue filling your medication uninterrupted. If you would like to continue using our pharmacy, there are several options available to you. First, you can have a local pharmacy of your choice call us to initiate a transfer over the phone for any of your medications. Alternatively, you can have your prescriber directly send a new prescription to the pharmacy of your choice.
We also want to inform you that there is an option available to all patients with Medicare advantage that allows them to switch insurance companies once a year by March 31st. We do accept all other major insurances, including the following plans that have zero monthly premium:
1) Aetna Medicare Prime
2) United Healthcare AARP Medicare Advantage
3) Humana Gold Plus
4) Clover Health Choice Value
5) Amerigroup Amerivantage Choice
Switching takes less than 10 minutes and can be done online at www.medicare.gov. We can assist you in switching insurance companies if you decide to take this course, either by walking you through it over the phone or in-person at the pharmacy between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm Monday through Saturday.
